Some conversations can be quite pleasurable. This happens when you are with the right company, can be present, can actively listen and feel that you have something to say. When this happens genuine connection occurs and pleasure ensues.

I am not the roles I play. I am infinite consciousness … a manifestation, an expression of the divine.

Thoughts are inner reflections and reverberations of inside and outside world perceptions. Speech for the most part is nothing more than semi-censored thoughts, vocalized in shared space.

At times I am of the animal. At times I am of the spirit. But much of the time I am both. I am an animal spirit … a temporal creature of instincts inspired and moved by infinite consciousness.

With my new vantage point I view myself through a lens of understanding and compassion. Memories and thoughts that once gave me pain upon reflection now fuel greater depths of self kindness. I had a memory of a way I used to think. I don’t think that way any longer. I wish to extend compassion to those who currently do.

Task without purpose equals a dreadful existence.

I do not want to be perfect. Perfection doesn’t exist. I want to be real. That seems to be my best bet. It requires the least bit of energy and is easier than keeping up with an impossible ideal.

I don’t want to exchange pleasantries. I want genuine, authentic relationships.

I had to move through a wall entrenched in cynicism to make the transition from indifference to compassion.
