More times than not, when people are hurtful, it has little to do with you. Everyone is dealing with something you can’t see. What happens is you end up feeling their own personal discontent. Don’t make their problems your own.
Emotional denial doesn’t heal. I’ve tried that countless times. This was at the root of my suffering. Mindful awareness of emotions and making a decision to be happy is what truly heals.
I am interweaving the inner reality I observe/create in meditation with my shared experience of the external world. I am bringing forth the deepest parts of myself to intermingle them with the deepest parts of others.
There is an opportunity for peace with every thought and with every action. It is always a choice. We do not arrive at peace. We live the process of peace.
In our world of information bombardment and constant noise, we must find a place of quiet within ourselves. This is a place where unshakable wisdom can surface in order to make sense of a world of perpetual distraction.
