Our emotions color and shape our experiences. Our perceptions are created in conjunction with a multitude of feelings. They emerge and regress within us, all in the present moment. They tell us where we believe we have been, who we believe we are and where we believe we are going.
My body is but one of infinite impermanent manifestations. Yet I still think of myself as important and worthy of being alive. Not because of this body I find myself in, but because of the eternal consciousness, the “I am”, encased within it.
Sometimes I just feel like I’m not here. That I am simply a passive observer rather than an active participant in my life. Like I’m just kinda there without a will of my own. It is here where I fear that I won’t be productive or have any impact on the world.
