Sometimes I must go through the negative to get to the positive. I can’t think positive all of the time. Unpleasant emotions or fears are real and must be dealt with as well. I must express and think through these negative emotional states. This is not negative thinking. This is me being real with my emotions regardless of how I label them, positive or negative. I try to just be honest with myself regarding my all of my emotions. There is a great deal of self knowledge to be found in them.
