Have you ever thought about your inner patterns? Patterns of what is anticipated? Your typical internal response to differing situations and interactions?

I’m always using my emotional thermometer to assess my inner temperature so I do ask myself these questions quite often. The only difference is that I’m writing them down so they are clearer and being shared with you. It’s interesting to see what patterns that have worked in the past no longer serve me. It is also interesting to think about what patterns I believe will serve me better.

I am currently at a point where I can observe many of my old patterns of response and create distance from them allowing more space for healthier patterns to emerge that truly serve me. My needs have changed as an adult so there are some things that have to be let go of leaving room for others that are healthier.

I leave you with these three questions of which I am asking myself as well:

What are my patterns, expectations, or inner responses to different situations or interactions? Do they serve me any longer? (If yes,great!) If not, how can I make space inside for newer, more forward looking and healthier ways of being?
